Case registered against AAP Spokesman for making derogatory remarks against UP CM.

New Delhi: Amidst the threat of the Corona Virus pandemic in the country there is lot on the plate for the people and the administration to take care of. There is a lockdown in most part of the country and people are asked to isolate themselves in their homes and follow the mantra of ‘Social Distancing’. But in every situation politics becomes integral part specially on the social media platforms. While the nation and whole of the world is afraid of the corona effects Aam Aadmi Party Spokesperson Sudhir Yadav made a derogatory remark for the Chief Minister of Uttar Pradesh and Gorakhnath Temple Mahant Yogi Adityanath. The remark made by the AAP leader caused a lot of turmoil in the social media and elsewhere. Hurt by the comments of Sudhir Yadav for Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister, BJP Spokesperson and Supreme court lawyer Ashwini Upadhyay has filed a case against Sudhir Yadav in Kavi Nagar Police Station, Gaziabad u/s 153A, 235A of IPC and IT Act.

India on Sunday had observed a successful ‘Janata Curfew’ as called by the Prime Minister Narendra Modi. People stayed at their homes to follow the self imposed curfew for 14 hours. PM also had asked people to clap or bang plates or ring bells or blow conch at 5pm for 5 minutes on the same day to thank and boost the morale of doctors, policemen, cleaning staffs, airport officials, bankers and the people who are working day and night to help save the millions of lives of our countrymen. People from all walks of life participated. UP Chief Minister also participated in the curfew and rang the bell at 5pm.

But the viral video of U P CM Yogi Adityanath ringing the bell didn’t go well with AAP Spokesperson Sudhir Yadav and he tweeted a photo of Yogi Adityanath ringing the bell saying “Ise dekh kar mujhe mere school ka chaprasi yaad aa gaya, aur aapko?”. (Looking at it I am reminded of the peon of my school, what about you?). Moment this was tweeted it caused lot of outrage and people trolled AAP Spokesperson to an extent that he had to finally delete his tweet but by then the case was filed by BJP Spokesperson Ashwini Upadhyay under different sections of the IPC and IT Act in Gaziabad.
