Fire accident at kaying village siang district around 50 house gutted down in 45 minutes
In the midst of national lockdown in Arunachal Pradesh, a very unfortunate incident of a devastating fire at Kaying was reported. 57 houses were burnt including one community of Dere. Due to the National lockdown, nothing could be done and people suffered huge losses. For immediate relief, Pasighat west MLA and former Union Minister Ninong Ering announced that he deposited an amount of Rs 1lakh to the account of DC Siang and he will also provide an amount of Rs 10 lakhs from his MLALAD for procurement of CGI Sheets. He further added his deepest regrets to the families in these hard times when the whole world is fighting against the Coronavirus.
There are no firefighter/fire tenders etc to combat such catastrophic moreover, male peoples of the said village were on busy at Community ritual protection work against Coronavirus. In such a fateful situation 1st Arunachal Scout Team of Kaying headed by Shri Soitoram Darang risking their lives and enable to douched the inferno into neutral. The 1 Arunachal team was later joined by the Indian Army of Kaying Kumaon regiments, Indian Army of Aalo, Firefighters of Aaalo covering around 50 km distances from Aalo to Kaying. The local youths joined at the diffusing inferno works where later half of the village at another right side of the BRTF main road.
It is also necessary to mention that there were various social workers or some philanthropists who immediately contributed relief help which long list of names shall report later. The administration and police along with local HMLA of 32nd Rumgong Constituency are in stepping up relief helps to the fire victims.
